Sales and operations are driven from three regions i.e. the Americas, EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) and Asia Pacific.

As a separate business unit within Kerry Group, Kerry Bio-Science brings a number of important new technology platforms to Kerry. With the increasing focus by the global food industry on the key areas of health, nutrition and food safety, Kerry Bio-Science focuses critical attention and unrivalled technology on such exciting growth opportunities.

Kerry Bio-Science has leading global positions in bio- and pharma-ingredients, including protein hydrolysates, emulsifiers, yeast, enzymes, hydrocolloids, cultures and fermentation products. Through these platforms, the nutrition, flavour, texture and shelf-life of food and beverages are enhanced.

Kerry Bio-Science operates from nine manufacturing units located in:

Brantford, Canada; Cebu, Philippines; Cork, Ireland; Esterol, Malaysia; Menstrie, Scotland UK; Rochester (MN) & Norwich (NY), USA; and Utrecht & Zwijndrecht, Netherlands.

Innovation and technology (application and research & development) is currently driven from two centers of excellence - Almere (Netherlands) and Chicago (IL, USA) – complemented by satellite development centers across major markets.

In total Kerry Bio-Science employs 970 people in more than 23 countries across EMEA, the Americas and Asia Pacific.
